Bio and Works

Irene Davidson-Fisher was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and currently lives and works in Minden, Ontario. Irene offers over 25 years of business experience including government, corporate business and the nonprofit sector.

Irene is a graduate University of Alberta and holds the international designation of CMM (Certification in Meeting Management), the highest designation attainable in the meeting and conference management industry. More recently, Irene is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature.

Irene has been published in Our Canada Magazine, a subsidiary to Readers Digest. She is a member of Children’s Book Insider, the Reading/Writing Connection (RWC), and the Haliburton Highlands Writer’s and Editor’s Network (HHWEN). Throughout Irene’s business career, she put words in other people’s mouths writing scripts and speeches, to name a few mediums. Most recently Irene has turned her hand to writing children’s stories. The experience she gained in developing scripts for events and speeches, has enabled her to bring the character’s in her children’s stories and articles to life.
